It is with great pleasure that we take part in the fundraising efforts of the Grande Prairie Regional Hospital Foundation. Together we aim to raise 20 million dollars to enhance patient care for the new Grande Prairie Regional Hospital that is currently under construction. This project not only looks at the specific healthcare needs of today, it also encompasses the opportunity to make a difference in our future. Being able to adapt to new innovations in technology and modern medical advancements is critical in providing a high quality healthcare system for our families in this community and the Peace Country Region.

We are committed to our Hospital because we live here, we work here, and we believe that enhancing patient care is vital to keeping our community healthy. We ask for your support in helping us make this campaign a success and together we can build one of the best regional healthcare facilities in Alberta.

This is the largest component of the Capital Campaign and it will allow us to purchase specialized medical equipment for the new Grande Prairie Regional Hospital as well as the QEII Regional Hospital. Key Innovations will provide funding for the purchase of new and exciting technological advancements for healthcare in the Peace Country Region. The goal for Key Innovations is to raise 9 million dollars over a five year term.

The Key Equipment for Life Legacy Fund is an endowment fund that will be utilized to purchase specialized medical equipment using the annual financial returns of the fund. This endowment fund will allow us to purchase equipment today and for generations to come. The Key Equipment for Life Legacy Fund commits to the long term needs of our community and will consistently provide funds for enhancing patient care. The goal for the Key Equipment for Life Legacy Fund is to raise 6 million dollars. Donations to the endowment fund can be made over a 10 year period.

Art enriches healing in many ways. The Key to the Art of Healing will beautify the Hospital, the grounds and warm the hearts of patients and their families. Funds donated to this component will provide the opportunity to purchase artworks, sculptures, develop beautiful gardens and explore the emotional healing of music. Arts have been proven to have a positive effect on healing, often improving clinical outcomes and decreasing the length of a hospital stay. Our goal is to raise 3 million dollars for the Key to the Art of Healing over a five year term.

The Key to Knowledge is the educational component of the Key to Care Capital Campaign. It was created to develop opportunities for learning, in ways that are not currently available. All donations to the Key to Knowledge will be utilized for educational opportunities for patients and healthcare staff. This includes the opportunity for distant learning. Our goal is to raise 2 million dollars for the Key to Knowledge over a five year term.ulvinar dapibus leo.
